Start with success

Before generating tasks, agree what a successful whole looks like, for whom, and within which constraints. Otherwise groups efficiently solve different problems.

Split by function

Strong parts have clear outputs: research audience needs, draft content, test navigation. Weak parts such as ‘do slide one’ merely divide labour without dividing thinking.

Test necessity

Remove each proposed part and ask whether the outcome still works. This identifies essentials, optional enhancements, and duplicate effort.
